The Sekiguchi Koi farm breeds already in the third generation protruding Koi. Admits became the farm by the breed of the Sekiguchi Showa and the Pearl Ginrin. In addition, with the breed of the Showa Sanshoku one pointed to the Sekiguchi Koi farm talent. The Showa Sanshoku of this farm received numerous honors.
At the beginning by Kosuke Sekiguchi, the grandfather of the today's breeder Masayuki Sekiguchi, Kohaku, Taisho Sanke and Asagi were bred. After he had bought a Tamagin of the special Variety, he operated the breed also with this Koi. Not only the Pearl effect was the erlesene with this Tamagin, on the contrary the Koi captivated by the marble-similar sample on the skin. As well known a Tamagin loses veining at the latest at the age of three years. At breed attempts for many years it succeeded to Kosuke Sekiguchi however to receive veining on the fish also at the age.
Today Masayuki Sekiguchi is occupied to breed as large Kohaku and a Taisho as possible Sanshoku with beautiful designs. But no matter how the breed of a Koi today already succeeds beautifully and ideally, also on the Sekiguchi Koi farm one is always anxious to breed a still more beautiful and better Koi.
